Later on, the company released an early gameplay footage to tell a little more about the universe, objectives and the creation process of the game, introducing the developers and others. Here, I gathered all the scenes shown in this mini documentary and redid the sound design. 👺⛩️ These early footage scenes came out in a behind the scenes about the game in 2024, so I thought: why not? With that, I gathered all the scenes shown in this mini documentary and redid all the sound design. For this project, I tried to explore the playful and supernatural a lot, so I used several tools to get a cool result. My favorite was using a blender and a brick-cutting machine for this haha. I wanted the attacks to have a lot of impact, so I wanted to make the bass a little more present. And much more! It was a great exercise and super fun, besides being challenging, but I confess that I loved the final result! Just like the previous character announcements, Ubisoft released an Anime-style Short to tell a little about the story of the new agent, titled "The Story of Azami" set in Japan. I have to say, I played Rainbow Six Siege a few times last years, but it's not among my favorite games. Despite this, I'm always very impressed with the great animations they release when they announce their new characters, something very similar to what Blizzard and Riot do when they announce their new heroes. And because of that, I was super interested in redesign the entire sound composition of "The Story of Azami" from my perspective. It was a super cool journey! Street Fighter 6 - Spy Family: Code White Anime Trailer (Sound Re-design) SFX Re-design and Music Edit: Matheus Oliveira Soundtrack: @matiastapia2495, @soundbay_RFM and @NiceChineseMusic Animation: CAPCOM x WIT Studio Game Developer: CAPCOM Publisher: CAPCOM On December 04, 2023, the company CAPCOM together with anime Spy Family by WIT Studio announced their first collaboration. The collaboration came as a way to celebrate the release of the film SPYxFAMILY: Code White. In addition to the characters' participation in the game, WIT Studio released an Anime-style trailer to announce the collaboration between the companies. When I saw the trailer for the first time, I was immediately interested as I really like both worlds. With that, I decided to redesign the sound of the trailer from my perspective. Dragon Ball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3 - Opening (Sound Re-design) SFX Re-design: Matheus Oliveira Soundtrack: Cover Unknown Animation: Spike Chunsoft Game Developer: Spike Chunsoft Publisher: Bandai Namco Entertainment On December 7, 2023, the studio Spike Chunsoft with its publisher Bandai Namco presented for the first time (since the announcement teaser) the trailer gameplay of its new game, Dragon Ball Z Sparking Zero ⏯​​​​​​​ during The Game Awards 2023. The game takes the loved gameplay of Budokai Tenkaichi series and raises it to whole new levels. Just like the TV series, since I was a child I've been a huge fan of the Budokai Tenkaichi series, especially the third game. This has always been my favorite Dragon Ball game franchise, so when I saw the trailer for the first time I really got goosebumps and a very strong feeling of nostalgia. Because of this, I decided to make my own version of the classic and legendary opening of the game Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3 (2007). Avatar: The Last Airbender | 1st Official Teaser | Netflix (Sound Re-design) SFX Re-design: Matheus Oliveira Soundtrack: Cover by @JeremyBraunsMusic Publisher: Netflix On November 9, 2023, the company launched their first teaser trailer about the new Live Action - Avatar: The Las Airbender during the well-known Geeked Week 2023. The teaser has a little more than a minute of exhibition and several scenes in different sceneries from the Book One: Water (the title of the first season of animation). I've been a huge fan of the TV show since I was a kid and when I watched the amazing trailer for the first time I was deeply excited and nostalgic! With that I decided to make my own version of the trailer with all possible textures. LE SSERAFIM (르세라핌) 'Perfect Night' - (Sound Re-design Overwatch Scenes) SFX Re-design: Matheus Oliveira Soundtrack :K-Pop Group Le Sserafim Animation: Blizzard Game Developer: Blizzard Publisher: Actvision Blizzard On October 27, 2023, the company Blizzard together with the K-Pop group Le Sserafim launched their first collaboration together. Before the official event and cosmetics arrived in their game (Overwatch 2), the musical group released their new song called Perfect Night along with the clip featuring special appearances from some characters from the game. Despite this, the clip only focuses on the group's members in general. As a sound designer and a huge fan of the game I missed the interactions, sounds and effects of the characters in animated moments a little. So, I decided to take just the animation parts and create the entire sound design for each moment. Hope you all enjoy it! OVERTIME [Short Film] - Sound Re-design SFX Re-design: Matheus Oliveira Soundtrack Edit: Matheus Oliveira Publisher: Red Tower channel and Craig D. Foster. Final project of the first semester of specialization in Sound Design at EBAC - Escola Britânica de Artes Criativas e Tecnologia. The objective of the project was to redo the entire audio track of the short film, going through the entire production process, from choosing sound effects to final mastering.
